Atlanta's Custom Pool Builder, From Design to First Swim
New Life Outdoors is a pool-focused builder based in Sugar Hill, serving homeowners across north Metro Atlanta. We design and build custom inground pools, then stay with you for remodeling, repair, and maintenance for years afterward. Our crews know the red clay, granite, sloped lots, and HOA rules found across Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, Cherokee, and Hall counties, and we plan every pool around those real site conditions.
Whether you want a family pool with a sun shelf, a saltwater pool, a spa with a spillover, or a full backyard with an outdoor kitchen, we start with how you want to use the space and build the plan from there. Read what homeowners say on our reviews page, or browse our service areas to see if we build in your city.
How Our Pool Building Process Works
- Free on-site consultation. We walk your yard, check access, slope, drainage, and utilities, and talk through how your family will use the pool.
- Custom 3D design. You see the shape, depth, finishes, decking, and features before anything is dug, and we refine it until it is right.
- Permits & HOA approval. We prepare site plans, pull the county or city permit, and provide drawings for HOA architectural review.
- Excavation & construction. Layout, excavation, steel, plumbing, electrical, and the shell, followed by tile, coping, and decking.
- Finish, start-up & walkthrough. We apply the interior finish, fill and balance the water, start the equipment, and show you how everything runs.
Gunite vs. Fiberglass vs. Vinyl Pools
| Gunite | Fiberglass | Vinyl | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shape | Fully custom | Preset shells | Mostly standard shapes |
| Best for | Sloped or irregular lots, luxury features | Flat yards, faster installs | Lower upfront budgets |
| Install time | Longest | Fastest | Moderate |
| Upkeep | Periodic resurfacing | Lowest | Liner replacement over time |
What Affects the Cost of a Pool in Atlanta
We do not sell package prices, because two Atlanta backyards are rarely alike. Your free estimate is built around these factors:
- Pool type, size, depth, and shape
- Site conditions: slope, rock, soil, drainage, and equipment access
- Features such as a spa, waterfalls, sun shelf, lighting, heating, and automation
- Decking, coping, fencing, retaining walls, and landscape restoration
- Permitting and HOA requirements in your city or county
Already Have a Pool? We Keep It Running
Our team also handles pool remodeling, resurfacing, repairs and leak detection, and weekly maintenance, so one company can build your pool and take care of it for its whole life. Ready to talk? Contact us or call 678-541-1222.
